Can Bin Master help with asbestos disposal? || Yes, we provide Hazibags for non-friable asbestos disposal. However, removal of asbestos should be done by a licensed professional. While we provide the Hazibags and take care of the transportation, we are not licensed to do the removal and you will need to arrange this separately.
Can I mix different types of waste in the same skip bin? || Mixed waste is allowed in our bins, enabling the disposal of general household waste, building materials, and green waste in a single container. We'll manage the sorting process for you, with a few exceptions.
What are the dimensions of the skip bags and bins available? || Skip bags are available in 1m³ and 3m³ sizes. Skip bin sizes range from 2m to 12m, with specific dimensions provided for each size on our skip bin sizes page.
Do I need to be present for the delivery or collection of the skip bin? || It's not necessary to be present, but please ensure that the delivery area is accessible and clear of any obstructions.
Can I place the skip bin on the road or public land? || Placement on public land may require council permission. It's best to check with your local council or discuss with us for advice on placement regulations.
What happens to the waste once it's collected? || Waste is delivered to our facility to undergo sorting processes. Recyclable materials are then directed to suitable recycling centers, with the remaining waste disposed of in the most environmentally sustainable way.
How long can I keep the skip bin for? || The default hire period for our skip bin hire services is 7 days. If you require the skip for a longer period, additional days can be added to the hire agreement as needed.
Is there a weight limit for skip bins? || Yes, there are set weight limits for each skip size. Exceeding these limits may result in additional charges.
How much does it cost to rent a skip? || The cost to hire a skip varies depending on several factors including the type of waste, the presence of specific items such as mattresses and tyres, and the duration of the hire. Prices for hiring our Nowra skip bins start as low as AU$320 for a 2m skip designated for concrete/brick waste. Conversely, skip bag hire begins at AU$180 for a 1m³ skip bag designated for green waste. Additional charges may apply for mattresses, tyres, and extended hire periods, impacting the final cost.
